The arms of Carlyon of Tregrehan are sable, a plate between three castles argent each charged with a cross crosslet gules, the crest is a demi lion rampant gules, ducally crowned or, collared argent, holding between his paws a bezant and the motto is Turris tutissima virtus (Virtue is the safest fortress) ( ).
