S Paul Apostle

Isaiah Prophet

To the glory of God and in reverent and affectionate memory of Paul Bush M.A. Rector of Duloe Hon. Canon of Truro. This window is given by his children & grandchildren.

Isaiah holds a scroll on which is written Ecce Virgo Concipiet (Behold, a virgin shall conceive) (Isaiah 7:14).

The faces of some of the angels at the top of a and c and the bottom of b appear to be photographic likenesses of children, probably members of the dedicatee’s family.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith (Ⅱ Timothy 4:7)

b detail. Two angels, at least one probably a photographic likeness of a member of the dedicatee’s family, holding a scroll.
