This window is dedicated to the glory of God and in proud and loving memory of Charles Treverbyn Gill 2 Lieut The Manchester Regiment killed in the Great War .
2Lt Gill was a member of Exeter College, Oxford. The motto of the University of Oxford is Dominus illuminatio mea, the beginning of the 27th Psalm quoted in the inscription at the bottom of the window.
