The Windows of this Chancel were inserted by William Evan Price of Great Torrington, Devon,
whilst lessee of this Rectory under the Dean and Canons of St George’s, Windsor, in Memory of
Anne Elizabeth his wife, daughter of John Palmer, Prebendary of Lincoln, who died on
the , and was buried in the Church of Great Torrington.
The East Window is the work of her Friend, Ann Tyrrell, Sister of William Tyrrell, D.D.
the first Bishop of Newcastle in Australia.(Inscription on a plaque below the window)
