S Sennen
2a. St Sennen vested as a bishop, with a crozier in his left hand and wearing a mitre. In his right hand he holds a book. Various figures are shown on his elaborately decorated episcopal vestments, at least one having a nimbus. The partially visible scene across his left shoulder appears to be part of St Catherine’s wheel. (Baring-Gould, S, Fisher, J. The Lives of the British Saints, Vol , London, , The Honorable Society of Cymmrodorion). , p 182

S Ia
2b. St Ia the Virgin, the patronal saint of the church, holding some lilies in her right hand, probably an allusion to the Blessed Virgin Mary shown in the predella below. The church has a matching pair of prayer desks, made by Violet Pinwill. On the end of one is a carving of St Ia and, on the other, a carving of the Blessed Virgin Mary and infant Jesus.
St Ia was reputedly the sister of the brothers SS Erca and Uny (Baring-Gould, S, Fisher, J. The Lives of the British Saints, Vol , London, , The Honorable Society of Cymmrodorion), shown in , p 268.
