A1. states that this window contained arms blazoned as per pale argent and sable three men’s heads erased counter-changed, which may well have been within the (now empty) sunburst. Mattingly suggests that this may be a mis-reading of another variant of the Tremayne arms.
A2. Within a sunburst, one of the variants of the arms of Tremayne of Cornwall and Devon, or, a chevron between three escallops azure, ( ).
