3. Mission room at the East End still apparently in place in 1883 Kelly’s Directory of Cornwall 1883 p 1001 but moved to precincts of St Andrew’s Church by 1893: Kelly’s Directory of Cornwall 1893 p 1254
4. Foundation stone laid 26^th July 1883 Truro Diocesan Kalendar 1884 p 149 (26^th July 1883). Heard & Sons, Truro (D/E/3/3, D/E/4/2), Royal Cornwall Gazette July 27, 1883 p 5. Architects JD Sedding, and Mr. James Hicks, cost about £4500.

If this Church is ever completed, it will form a decided ornament to the town, which at present is almost devoid of anything architecturally beautiful.
