Notes on the church

1. LMC to Bodmin / Lanivet. Foundation stone laid Boxing Day 26^th December 1883. Royal Cornwall Gazette January 4, 1884 p 5.
2. Opened 19^th August 1884. Major donor was Revd FB Paul, rector of Lanivet, who contributed £300 of the total cost, £400. No mention of stained glass at opening. Cornubian and Redruth Times August 22, 1884 p 7, Royal Cornwall Gazette August 29, 1884 p 6
3. 1884. Truro Diocesan Kalendar 1885 p 153 (19^th August 1884). Heard & Sons, Truro (D/E/3/3, D/E/4/2). The Bishop opened the Mission Chapel of S. Stephen, at Nanstallon.
